3 new professional development classes online for nurses, social workers and teachers at IVCC

Illinois Valley Community College’s Continuing Education Center offers three new virtual online live professional development classes for nurses, counselors, social workers and teachers.

The classes are:

• Understanding and Working with Adverse Childhood Experiences (CPD-3271-102), 10 a.m. to noon, Friday

• Burnout, Compassion Fatigue and Vicarious Traumatization: The Cost of Empathy during COVID (CPD-3272-103), 9 a.m. to noon, March 11

• Clinical Strategies for Helping Parents Emotionally Attune to Their Children (CPD-3273-104), 10 a.m. to noon, April 16
