La Salle County grand jury returns indictments May 18, 2021

A La Salle County grand jury convened Tuesday and returned the following indictments: Kyle Gallup, 31, of Spring Valley (two counts of aggravated DUI; driving while revoked; unlawful possession of a controlled substance); Derrick Whitfield, 49, of Streator, (driving while revoked); Charles Smith, 38, of Chicago (driving while revoked); Nicholas Lotshaw, 23, of Streator (unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver); Jasmine Chandler, 22, of Wenona (unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver); Sylvia McVay, 42, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa (unlawful delivery of methamphetamine); Venus Durbin, 34, of Rutland (unlawful delivery of a controlled substance); Christopher Brockman, 50, homeless (unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver); Paris Peak, 25, of Chicago (unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon); Zachary Bigott, 21, of Earlville (obstructing justice); Mauricio Carreon, 20, of Spring Valley (retail theft); John Weger, 61, of Oglesby (retail theft); Deshaun Cockream, 21, of Peru (theft); Brandy Sadnick, 41, of La Salle (unlawful possession of methamphetamine); Antonio Duarte, 23, of Streator (unlawful possession of cannabis; driving while revoked); Joshua Torres, 36, of Aurora (disorderly conduct); Douglas Brue, 38, of Ottawa (two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver).
