Business Happenings: Francesca’s Italian Restaurant in Earlville closes

Restaurant closed Feb. 27 and has not reopened

Francesca’s Italian Restaurant in Earlville announced March 10 it had closed permanently.

The restaurant at 119 W. Railroad St. in the city’s downtown closed Feb. 27 with anticipation of reopening March 10.

The Italian restaurant made pizza, pasta and sandwiches, among other items in casual dining and carryout setting.

The proprietor wrote on the restaurant’s Facebook page: “I would like to thank you all for your support over the years. We have unfortunately decided to close our doors. We wish you all the best!”
