Central Church of Christ will provide a free lunch Saturday, Aug. 12, at Park Place, 406 E. Hickory St., Streator. (Tom Sistak)

Central Church of Christ will provide a free lunch Saturday, Aug. 12, at Park Place, 406 E. Hickory St., Streator.

The free lunch is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with carryouts beginning at 12:15 p.m.

This month’s menu will be barbecue, a variety of salads, chips, desserts and a beverage.

The free lunch program is sponsored by Deacons and Hardscrabble Lions Club. The public is welcome to attend.
