The Morris Color Guard is inviting the community to “A Time To Remember” at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Runnings, 2655 Sycamore Dr.

Commander Robert Dettman said the annual event will feature representatives from the Morris Fire Department and Emergency Medical Service, the Morris Police Department, and the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office. Chaplain Steve Larson will provide an invocation.

There will also be commemorative rifle volleys followed by TAPS.
