Raising Cane’s to hire for Gurnee restaurant

Popular chicken finger brand known as a ‘Best Place to Work’ now hiring for Oct. 26 grand opening

GURNEE – Gurnee’s lineup of popular restaurants is about to get even better when Raising Cane’s makes its debut in October.

To prepare for the opening, the rapidly growing brand is seeking more than 100 local crew members for multiple positions ranging from management level to hourly crew.

When the new restaurant opens at 6425 Grand Ave. on Oct. 26, it will mark the first Raising Cane’s in Gurnee and 21st in Illinois, a news release stated.

In May, Raising Cane’s was one of just three restaurant brands named to Forbes’ ”Best Employers For New Grads” top 100 list, and Raising Cane’s “fast-paced, fun culture and growth opportunities” earned it a spot on Glassdoor’s coveted ”100 Best Places to Work in the U.S.” list in 2021. Raising Cane’s is frequently recognized among the “Best Places to Work” in communities across the country for a number of reasons, including industry-leading compensation, benefit programs and guaranteed flexible schedules, the release stated.

The hiring of more than 100 crew members for the Gurnee restaurant is taking place through Oct. 4 at the Great Wolf Lodge White Oak Ballroom, 1700 Nations Drive, in Gurnee. From Oct. 5 to 18, hiring will take place at Raising Cane’s, 6425 Grand Ave., in Gurnee.
