Theft via fake ID reported

Oswego police said they were told an unknown woman presented a stolen ID and cashed two checks totaling $3,562 at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at a business in the 6600 block of Route 34 in the village.

ATV theft reported

Oswego police are investigating the theft of an ATV that was left outside overnight Sept. 19-20 in a backyard in the 300 block of Chicago Road. Police said the ATV is valued at $2,000.

Motorist cited

Oswego police ticketed Jonathan Nocelotl, 26, of the 300 block of LaSalle Street, Aurora, for driving on a suspended license and without insurance after stopping his vehicle at 10:43 a.m. Sept. 17 on Douglas Road at Farmington Lakes Drive. Police said Nocelotl posted bond and was given a court date.

Domestic, property damage incident reported

Oswego police are investigating an incident involving a domestic battery and criminal damage to property that occurred at 8:31 p.m. Sept. 18 in the 200 block of Springbrook Trail South. Police said a 50-year-old man was injured but not taken to the hospital as a result of the incident. Property damage was estimated at $280.

Hit-and-run crash reported

Oswego police responded to a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 4:34 p.m. Sept. 19 on Orchard Road at Budlong Road. No injuries were reported.

Bicycle stolen

Oswego police were told about 5 p.m. Sept. 18 that a bicycle valued at $495 was stolen from a store in the 3000 block of Route 34.

Hit-and-run crash reported at OHS

Oswego police took a report of a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 3 p.m. Sept. 14 in a parking lot at Oswego High School. Police said the crash involved two SUVs and damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
