Battery, resisting charges

Sandwich police arrested Hector Reyes, 28, of the 400 block of East Church Street, Sandwich, at 2:29 a.m. Dec. 25 on charges of aggravated battery and resisting/obstructing a peace officer. Police said Reyes was not able to post bond and was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore pending court proceedings.
