Two injured, one charged with DUI in Boulder Hill crash

Two people were injured and one charged with driving under the influence following a crash early Sunday morning in the 0-100 block of Fernwood Road in the Boulder Hill subdivision, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

In a press statement, the sheriff’s office said Clarissa A. Buenrostro, 40, and Ismael Buenrostro, 42, both of the 200 block of Fernwood Road, were injured in the crash and transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

The sheriff’s office described the injuries to the Buenrostros as non-life threatening.

The sheriff’s office said Clarissa Buenrostro was later arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. The suspect was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
