Orange and blue smoke ushered the varsity Oswego High School football team onto Pickerill Stadium for the annual Crosstown Challenge game against Oswego East High School on Oct. 15. OHS took home a 38-14 victory and regained the Crosstown title.

A light drizzle stopped in time for the Oswego High School and Oswego East High School varsity football teams to take to Ken Pickerill Stadium Oct. 15, for the annual Crosstown Challenge football game.

Oswego High School took home the victory with a score of 38-14, regaining the Crosstown title after an OEHS victory in the spring. But while touchdowns were scored on the field, there was energy surging from the sidelines; thanks to both schools’ marching bands, poms and cheerleading teams, and dedicated student sections on both sides of the field.
