Boulder Hill resident found in possession of stolen ATV facing felony charge

Montgomery police arrested Adam M. Herren, 18, of the 0-100 block of Sierra Road, Boulder Hill, at 2:25 a.m. April 13 on Route 30 at Horseman Trail.

In a statement, police said officers stopped Herren for driving an ATV on a roadway and not having a registration plate.

Upon further investigation, police said they learned the ATV had been reported stolen in Oswego. Herren was then taken into custody and charged with a single felony count of possession of a stolen vehicle. Police said he was also issued multiple traffic citations.

Police later transported Herren to the Kane County Jail in St. Charles to await a bond call.
