Members from the American Legion Riders Post #181 from Sandwich helped the Franklin Mall Project with a donation to the Lions Club for gift cards. This project began in 1954 and is now being directed by the Sandwich Lions Club. Local businesses, organizations, churches, schools and individuals have worked together to supply groceries to about 250 households that need a helping hand during the holidays.
