IHSA state meet

Oswego East, with a total pinfall of 11,708, finished fifth at the IHSA state bowling tournament at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford.

Harlem was the team champion with a total of 12,313.

Leah Andrews was Oswego East’s top finisher, 12th with a total of 2,475.

Boys Basketball

Yorkville Christian 79, Freeport 74

Jayden Riley scored 45 points and Tray Alford added 14 for the Mustangs (20-10) in their regular season finale.
