Libertyville 57, Yorkville 41

Libertyville outscored the visiting Foxes 17-6 in the second quarter to build an 11-point halftime lead and Yorkville couldn’t quite rally. Ashlyn Peterson scored 11 points, Hayden Hodges eight and Sydney McCabe eight for Yorkville.

Boys Basketball

Seneca 59, Newark 49

Reggie Chapman had 15 points, six assists and four rebounds, Cody Kulbartz 14 points, four rebounds and three blocks and Jimmy Kath 11 points and six rebounds for Newark (11-8).
