No active shooter threat at Aurora outlet mall after reports of person with a gun: police

Aurora police are at the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora, investigating reports of a person with a gun on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Aurora Police Department, there is no active threat to the public and the scene is secure.

Officers are with the person in question.

A dispatcher at the Aurora Police Department said that everyone is safe, and more information will be updated on the department’s social media pages.
