A vehicle fire Wednesday night in Batavia’s manufacturing district destroyed three semi-truck cabs.

Batavia firefighters responded to a fire outside Diamond Rigging, located at 680 Kingsland Dr., around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 18.

No injuries were reported.

Fire Chief Craig Hanson said four semi-truck cabs without trailers were involved in the fire, and three were completely destroyed.

The fire was extinguished just before 8 p.m. The Batavia Fire Department was assisted by five surrounding communities' departments through their mutual aid agreement.

Hanson said the cause of the fire is still under investigation, and Diamond Rigging is handling the cleanup.
