Princeton Logan captures Starved Rock Conference softball championship

Bureau Valley finishes third

Logan defeated Spring Vallley JFK 2-1 in the championship game of the Starved Rock Conference Tournament Saturday morning at Little Siberia Field in Princeton. Princeton Logan Junior High defeated Spring Vallley JFK 2-1 in the championship game of the Starved Rock Conference softball tournament Saturday morning at Little Siberia Field in Princeton.

The Lions were the No. 1 seed. They drew a bye before defeating Peru Parkside 10-0 in the semifinals.

Bureau Valley defeated Parkside 6-3 for third place. The Storm opened with a 10-0 win over Streator before losing to Spring Valley JFK 8-0 in the semifinals.
