The Utica Village Board has an opening.

Trustee Kylie Mattioda, who was not present Thursday, has submitted her resignation, indicating that she wants to serve the community in other ways.

“We will look to fill that seat probably not until June,” Utica Village President Dave Stewart said.

He extended his thanks to Mattioda for her years of service.
