Princeton 45, Sherrard 35: Camryn Driscoll scored 19 points to lead the Tigresses to a Three Rivers crossover win in the battle of the Tigers on Saturday afternoon at Prouty Gym.
Keighley Davis added 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Tigresses, who improved to 14-8.
Sherrard is receiving votes in the latest AP Class 2A Poll.
Boys basketball
LaMoille 82, IMSA 72: Tyler Billhorn scored 31 points with 11 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Lions to an opening round victory in the Little Ten Conference Tournament on Saturday.
Brayden Klein had 17 points, Connor Deering had 10 points and Cody Winn added eight points.
Sherrard 62, Bureau Valley 49: Landon Hulsing had 16 points, Landen Birdsley 11 and Elijah Endress had nine as the Storm fell to their former Three Rivers Conference rival at Sherrard.
Rylan Carlson led the host Tigers (20-3) with 24 points, Carter Brown had 16 and Ryder Veronda added 11.
Girls wrestling
At Metamora: Princeton’s Izzy Gibson placed second at the Metamora Regional to advance to the Geneseo Sectional.
Boys wrestling
At Melrose Park: St. Bede placed second among six teams in the Chicagoland Prairie Conference duals at Walther Christian.
The Bruins went 4-1, defeating Walther Christian (54-24), Westmont (50-18), Dwight (58-5) and Marquette (42-30), losing to champion Seneca (64-18).
Max Moreno (126 pounds) and Jordan Coventry (157) each won three contested matches for the Bruins, all by falls.
Jameson Daley (106), Mike Benge (113), Jack Maschmann (175), Garrett Connelly (190) and Willy Sramek (215) each won two matches.
