A Rochelle man crashed his motorcycle Monday on Route 71′s Dimmick Hill just west of Point Shelter at Starved Rock State Park.

The 55-year-old was flown to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria by helicopter with serious injuries. The La Salle County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.

Utica EMS responded to the scene.
