Walter receives High Individual Cattle, 4th Individual Overall

Dalton Walter of Grand Ridge and the Illinois Central College Livestock Judging Team placed well Sept. 24 at the National Aksarben Stockshow Judging Contest.

The team overall placed High Team Cattle, third Team Reasons and third Team Overall. The team competed against 15 other colleges from across the nation.

Illinois Central College students defeated more than 100 other statewide competitors for their placements.

Among Walter’s individual highlights, he received honors for High Individual Cattle and fourth Individual Overall.
