In recognition of Independence Day, The Daily Journal will not publish a newspaper on Wednesday, the Fourth of July.

Since Wednesday is normally when grocery advertisements appear in The Daily Journal, subscribers who have chosen the Wednesday/Weekend Edition option will receive both the Tuesday (July 3) and Thursday (July 5) editions in the coming week.

CVS pharmacy and Aldi advertisements will appear Tuesday. Jewel-Osco, Kroger, Mario's Market and Ultra Foods advertisements will appear Thursday.

The customer service department will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and will be closed on Wednesday. The phone number is 815-937-3322.
