Bureau County players earn TRAC All-Conference

Conference champion Princeton dominated the Three Rivers Mississippi 2001 Spring All-Conference football team with 11 first team selections, four second-team selections and seven honorable mention recognition.

Tigers Tyler Gibson (QB), Ronde Worrels (RB) and Grant Foes (T), all seniors, headed up the offensive team as unanimous selections. They are joined on first team offense by teammates senior Kaleb Cain (C) and Kody Mongan (G).

On defense, first team honors went to PHS seniors Foes and Alex May at defensive line, Worrels and junior Drew Harp at linebacker and senior Cael Davis, unanimously at defensive back.

Gibson also earned unanimous honors as punter.

St. Bede received four five team selections - juniors Tyreke Fortney (flex), Jayce Ladzinski (LB) and Luke Story (DB) and seniors Logan Link (DL) and Nick Pearse (PK).

Hall placed two on first team - senior Alex Vecchia (DL) and junior Dominic Guerrini (LB).

Second team selections included seniors Braden Damerell (QB), Shawn Schwemlein (C), Griffen Heuser (E) and Joe Edwall (G) of St. Bede, sophomore Mac Resetich (RB/DB), Vecchia (T) and Guerrini (RB) of Hall, and sophomore Teegan Davis (flex/DB) and juniors Pierce Miller (DL) and Bennett Sierens (E) of Princeton.

Six Tigers received honorable mention all-conference: sophomores Augie Christiansen (RB/LB) and Danny Cihocki (LB), juniors Miller (G), Jacob Aley (T) and Logan Glancy (DB) and senior Caleb Haring (E).

Honorable mention also went to sophomore Ryan Migliorini (T), juniors Ethan Sramek (RB) and Ladzinski (G) and seniors Brandon Green (DL), Noah Setser (LB), Ethan Fleming (LB) and Tim Croissant (DB), all of St. Bede.

TRAC Rock All-Conference

Bureau Valley had five players receive all-conference recognition on the TRAC Rock side, including second-teamer Eli Kruse (LB), a junior.

Honorable Mention honors went to seniors Evan Eckberg (DB) and Alessandro Bertolani (PK) and juniors Carter Haney (G), Brodie Hansen (DL) and Layton Britt (DB).
