Bureau County tax bills are in the mail

PRINCETON — Bureau County residents will be receiving property tax bills in the upcoming days.

Bills were mailed from the treasurer’s office Friday, June 4. The first tax installment is due July 15; second payments will be due Sept. 15.

Bills can be paid online through at https://www.bureaucounty-il.gov/Treasurer by debit or credit card or paid by check or cash at the Treasurer’s Office at Bureau County Courthouse. Additionally, payment can be made via secure drop box at the west entrance of the courthouse or most Bureau County banks.
