Princeton beat LaSalle-Peru 64-60 to capture the 2021 Colmone Classic championship Saturday night.

11th place
Hall 58, PC 29: The Red Devils claimed the 11th-place finishing by defeating neighbor PC in the first varsity game of the day.
Drake Garland knocked down 6-of-9 3-pointers and scored a game-high 22 points to lead Hall, while Ethan Plym added 18 points.
Orlando Harris scored nine points to pace Putnam County.
9th place
St. Bede 61, Fieldcrest 53: The Bruins finished out the tournament with a victory over the Knights.
The game marked the final Colmone Classic appearance for longtime Fieldcrest coach Matt Winkler, who is retiring after this season, having won 12 Hall tournament titles.
Paul Hart scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for St. Bede, while his younger brother, Isaiah, had 12 points and Callan Hueneburg added 10.
Landon Modro had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Knights and Ed Lorton contributed 16 points.
7th place
Stillman Valley 46, Mendota 36: The Cardinals went from losing out for the Gray Pool title on a tiebreaker to Princeton to winning the seventh-place game.
Evan Davidson poured in a game-high 25 points for Stillman Valley.
Isaac Guzman had 11 points to lead the Trojans.
5th place
Marquette 67, Bureau Valley 64: The Cru finished out tournament play with the fifth-place trophy by defeating the Storm.
Marquette had four players in double figures, led by 15 points from Tommy Durdan. Beau Ewers and Griffin Walker each scored 14 points, while Logan Nelson added 11 points.
Carter Salisbury scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for BV, while Nevin Bolin added 12 points.
3rd place
Pontiac 65, Rock Falls 60: Henry Brummel and Riley Weber scored 18 points each as the Indians claimed third place.
Brooker Cross scored 23 points to lead the Rockets.

All-tournament team: Princeton’s Grady Thompson was voted tournament MVP, while teammate Teegan Davis also earned a spot on the all-tournament team. Also claiming spots were L-P’s John Riva, St. Bede’s Paul Hart, Hall’s Drake Garland, Bureau Valley’s Carter Salisbury, Mendota’s Krew Bond, Marquette’s Tommy Durdan, Pontiac’s Kerr Bauman and Stillman Valley’s Evan Davidson.
Sophomore championship
Fieldcrest 37, Princeton 26: The Knights captured the Colmone Classic sophomore crown by defeating the Kittens Saturday morning.
Jozia Johnson of Fieldcrest led all scorer with 16 points.
Daniel Sousa led the Kittens (7-2) with six points and Andrew Peacock and Jimmy Starkey added five each.
