2021 All-BCR Wrestling Team

Steven Benavidez-Princeton (Fr./106) - The Tiger cub went 20-9 in his first year for PHS, placing fifth in the IWCOA regional at Sandwich.

Connor Brooker-PCH (Jr./160) - A 2020 IHSA state qualifier, Brooker went 23-8 this season. He placed fourth in the IWCOA regional at Yorkville, and went 2-2 at Sandwich Sectional. He was named Second Team Three Rivers All-Conference.

Augie Christiansen-Princeton (So./138) - The PHS soph went 21-11, placing fourth at the IWCOA regional at Sandwich. He was named Second Team Three Rivers All-Conference.

Matthew Harris-Princeton (Jr./126) - The BCR Wrestler of the Year won the most matches of any area wrestler, going 25-8 on the way to a fourth-place IWCOA State finish. He was a regional and sectional runner-up at Sandwich. He was named Second Team Three Rivers All-Conference.

Carson Etheridge-Princeton (So./152) - The PHS sophomore went 15-11 for the Tigers this season.

Ethan Fleming-St. Bede (Sr./182) - The St. Bede senior was the regional runner-up at Yorkville and won one match at sectional, reaching the “blood” round. Had a 15-4 record. He received Honorable Mention Three Rivers All-Conference.

Drew Harp-Princeton (Jr./195) - Harp was tuned in for a 17-8 record, placing fourth in the IWCOA regional at Sandwich.

Payne Miller-Princeton (Fr./285) 18-6 - The PHS freshman went 18-6 in his Tigers’ debut, placing third in the IWCOA regional at Sandwich.

Henry Orteza-St. Bede (Jr./120) - Orteza went 14-7 for the Bruins this season.

James Sanchez-St. Bede (Sr./160) - A regional runner-up at Yorkville, Sanchez won one match and reached the “blood” round at sectional. He went 15-10. He was named Second Team Three Rivers All-Conference.

Noah Setser-St. Bede (Sr./138) - Setser went 13-8 with a third-place finish in the IWCOA regional at Yorkville.

Jesse Wright-Princeton (So./220) - The PHS sophomore went 18-8 for the Tigers this year at 220 pounds.
