Favorite sport & why: Both volleyball and track - I love the competitiveness of both sports.

Favorite food & where to get it: Steak at Texas Roadhouse.

Likes: Tacos, fruits, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.

Dislikes: Cooked vegetables.

Person with greatest influence on athletic career: my dad- we share a passion for track together & my former volleyball & throws coach- Coach DeVenney- I’ve had him as a coach in volleyball since junior high & for track throughout high school, I was always able to talk to him about any obstacles I faced.

Person with greatest influence in my life: My mom- she always helped me out by being both my mom & my friend.

Dream celebrity prom date: Harry Styles.

Three historic figures I’d like to meet: Abraham Lincoln - (in my opinion) the best president in history. Jesus - to see him perform miracles. Penny Chenery - to hear about her experience with Secretariat & how exciting that was.

When I need luck for a big game I: Keep the same routine as I always do. I love even try to wear the same clothes. I’m very superstitious.

The funniest person I’ve ever met: My cousin - he says the most random & funny things.

What they’ll say about me after I graduate: She was very determined.

Most embarrassing moment: When I threw (what had to be) 115 feet my freshman year and walked right out the front of the ring.

Most unforgettable moment: When my coach tore off my acrylic nail so it wouldn’t affect my throwing in shot put.

Ultimate sports fantasy: To have won state in volleyball.

What I would like to do in life: Work my way up to a master’s in nursing.
