Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County COVID report: 3 counties near, or exceed 20% fully-vaccinated

83 new COVID-19 cases in past 14 days among the 3 counties

Both Putnam and Marshall counties have exceeded the 20% mark for the rate of their populations that have been fully-vaccinated from COVID-19, while Bureau County is nearing 20%.

In Bureau, there have been 16,604 doses of the vaccine administered, which has led to 6,194 residents being fully-vaccinated — 18.7% of the county’s population.

For Putnam County, there have been 3,313 doses of the vaccine administered, leading to 1,366 fully-vaccinated residents, which is 23.8% of the county’s population.

And in Marshall County, there have been 6,057 doses of the vaccine administered, leading to 2,419 fully-vaccinated residents, which is 20.9% of the county’s population.

There have been 83 new COVID-19 cases between Bureau, Putnam and Marshall counties in the past 14 days from March 27 to April 9.

The Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County Health Department said Bureau has had 48 of those cases, Marshall County 31 and Putnam County four.

From April 1-7, the seven-day positivity rate in Bureau County was 5.2%, in Marshall County 4.9% and in Putnam County 3.7%.
