Kayla Wellner and Justin Miller were united in marriage during a ceremony performed at 1 p.m. May 28, 2016, in St. Joseph’s Church. The Rev. Harold Datzman officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Ann) Wellner of Peru and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff (Terri) Miller of Peru.

Best man was Jason Miller. Maid of honor was Katie Wellner. Bridesmaids were Jaiclyn Brown, Libby Koster, Ariana Carlson and Christina Brown. Groomsmen were Billy Becker, Keith Lipka, Gus Johnson and Brent Ziegler. Ushers were Ryan Zerrusen, Shane Browning and Jake Kowalczyk. Ring bearer was Geno Taylor. Flower girl was Hanna Waszkowiak.

The couple was honored during a reception at Mendota Civic Center.

The bride is a graduate of Aurora University. She is employed by Youth Service Bureau as a therapist. The groom is a graduate of Illinois State University. He is employed by the City of Peru as finance officer.

Following a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple resides in Peru.
