You can rent DeKalb's AMC auditoriums for private movie showings during pandemic

DeKALB – AMC Theatres' auditoriums across the nation, including AMC Market Square 10, located at 2160 Sycamore Road in DeKalb, are available for rent starting at $99 plus tax.

An auditorium can be reserved for up to 20 people for a private movie showing.

To make a reservation, fill out an Events Inquiry Form on AMC's website, choosing the date, time, theater location and contact information. An AMC representative will be in contact within three business days.

Newer movies, including “Tenet,” “The War with Grandpa,” “2 Hearts,” “Honest Thief” and “The New Mutants,” cost $149 to $349 plus tax.

Older movies, including “Jurassic Park,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Jumanji: The Next Level,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Shrek,” “Hocus Pocus” and “The Nightmare before Christmas,” cost $99 plus tax.

Popcorn and candy are not included in the price, but can be ordered in advance. If guests decide to bring their own food, AMC charges a $250 outside catering fee.
