The Forest Preserve District of Will County’s Rock Run Greenway Trail segment located on the west side of Joliet has reopened now that the city’s sewer improvement project has been completed.
The sewer project and related trail closure began in early January. The trail closure affected a section of the path that Joliet Junior College owns on its campus and a portion owned by the Forest Preserve District that runs parallel to Houbolt Road.
The now-completed sewer project is part of the city's five-year sewer rehabilitation plan. For more information on the plan, visit joliet.gov.
