Motorcycle operator killed in car crash in Tinley Park: coroner

The operator of a motorcycle was killed after he collided with another vehicle on Interstate 80 at Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park, according to the Will County Coroner’s Office.

At close to noon Friday, Tony Mosley, 69, of Lansing was pronounced deceased at the Silver Cross Hospital emergency room in New Lenox, the coroner’s office said.

Mosley was driving a motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle on I-80 at Oak Park Avenue, officials said.

The Illinois State Police are investigating the incident.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday. The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date.
