Now open seven days a week for take out orders

ST. CHARLES – A new brewery and kitchen has opened its doors in downtown St. Charles.

Alter Brewing + Kitchen, located at 12 S. First St., is now open from 4 to 8 p.m. seven days a week for takeout orders. Establishments are not able to open their dining rooms at this time because of the state's stay-at-home order put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The to-go menu features a variety of items, including crab cake bites, shrimp linguine, breaded chicken sandwich and a caprese melt. Call 331-901-5949 to place an order. Online ordering will be available soon.

Alter Brewing + Kitchen has an indoor seating capacity of 160 people, and its outdoor patio, which overlooks the Fox River, can seat more than 100 people. Alter operates another brewery in Downers Grove.
