Plainfield students to compete at DECA state conference

Forty-seven students from Plainfield South, North and East high schools will compete at the DECA Illinois State Career Development Conference in March in Chicago.

More than 80 District 202 high school students competed against more than 500 students at the DECA regional competition on January 31, 2020.

Students who placed first, second or third at the regional competition qualify to compete at the state level.

Other students who didn’t place in the top three can be invited based on the club adviser’s discretion.
