Chelsea Bromley Davis, 32, of La Salle, formerly of Streator, died Tuesday (February 11, 2020) as the result of an automobile accident near Utica.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Central Church of Christ, Streator with Joe Sanders, officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM Sunday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator and from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday at Central Church of Christ. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Ms. Davis was born November 25, 1987 in Streator. She was the daughter of Jessica and Mike Pastirik and Kevin Davis.
Chelsea was employed as a family worker for the Center for Youth and Family Solutions. She was a former children's minister at Central Church of Christ. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Woodland High School, Lincoln Christian University and the Spanish Language Institute, Costa Rica. She was active in church planting and missionary work in Uganda, Costa Rica, Italy, Romania, Mexico, Spain, Dominican Republic, Haiti and the inner cities of the United States.
She is survived by her parents Jessica and Michael Pastirik, Streator, and her father, Kevin Davis. Also surviving is Mark Truty, her fiancé, to whom she was to be married on February 29, 2020, and his son Carson Truty, brothers Trey (Adriana) Pastirik stationed with the US Navy, Logan Davis, sisters Khloe Davis and Lillyanna Davis, future in-laws, Karen and Mark Truty, Ottawa, brother-in-law, Andrew Truty and sister-in-law Melissa (Jason) Lowry, maternal grandmother Lucia "Lucy" Bromley, Streator, paternal grandmothers Geraldine Davis and Gladys Pastirik, aunts and uncles, Liz (Steve) Broadus, Mary (Jeff) Zavada, Irene (Bill) Sedlock, Kathy (Tom) Hearons, Karla (Kirk) Rust, Krista (Tony) Valachovic, Kari (Mike) Austino, Kraig Davis, Brenda (Terry) Flahaven, Lori Pastirik, Debbie White and Jeff Pastirik along with nieces and nephews, Lukas and Ana Pastirik, Riley and Evan Lowry and one godson Emmett Burkhead.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Galen Davis, Leon Pastirik and Richard "Duke" Bromley.
Pallbearers will be Trey Pastirik, Ben Ruem, Joel Sedlocko, David Rathbun, Kevin Davis, and Michael Pastirik.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the family.
