The students of St. Mary Immaculate School in Plainfield had a WILD day during Catholic Schools Week.
On Jan. 28, they welcomed Jim Nesci from Cold Blooded Creatures and Bubba the Amazing Alligator to school for an assembly.
The students heard a reptile presentation while he brought out his creatures. They learned the role of reptiles and why they are on the planet.
\Nesci showed them the proper way to handle the animals with the attention to detail that assures a positive learning environment. The students were given a hands-on experience to this one of a kind assembly.
