Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation to host charity Bunco fundraiser

Event is Feb. 29 at Batavia Moose Lodge

BATAVIA – The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation is hosting its 6th annual Bunco Charity Fundraiser on Feb. 29 at the Batavia Moose Lodge, 1535 S. Batavia Ave. Registration is now open for the event, which is open to the public. The evening will have an 80s theme, according to a press release from the foundation.

In addition to Bunco games, there will also be a raffle, silent auction, heads-or-tails games and more. All participants must be 21 or over. Tickets are $30 per person or $100 for a table of four if ordered in advance. Tickets rise to $35 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and games begin at 7:15 p.m.

Appetizers, snacks, and desserts will be offered, and a cash bar will also be available.

All money raised from this event and other events through the Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation go directly back to the community through the schools or local organizations that focus on helping children and families, the release stated.

The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 1934, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children in the Fox Valley area. Last year, the club donated over $37,000 to local charities, including CHIP IN Batavia and CASA Kane County, whose activities support this mission, the release stated.
