Local family medicine physician Dr. Jennifer L. Jones finalized
an affiliation agreement that merges her independent practice with
Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers.

Dr. Jones has served on the Morris Hospital Medical Staff for more than 18 years.

The partnership allows Dr. Jones more time to focus on patient care, while Morris Hospital oversees the business management responsibilities associated with her practice.

Dr. Jones’ office location and phone number remain the same: 1499 Lakewood Dr., Suite C, Morris, 815-416-1300. The name of the practice has changed to Morris Healthcare Center of Morris Hospital. She is not yet accepting new patients.

A graduate of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Dr. Jones completed a three-year family medicine residency at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. She joined the Morris Hospital Medical Staff in 2001.

She also is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians.

In addition to the 89-bed Morris Hospital, Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers includes offices in
25 locations.

The growing number of physician practices in the network includes specialists in allergy-immunology, cardiology, endocrinology, family medicine, infectious disease, general surgery, internal medicine, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and rheumatology.
