DeKALB – Rosati's Pizza & Sports Pub at 930 Pappas Drive has closed.
A phone call to the location confirms with a recorded message stating the restaurant's closure. Employees of the pub were notified Sunday that the location was closed, reports Northern Illinois University's Northern Star.
The DeKalb eatery opened its doors in February 2017 and is one of several short-lived restaurants in that location.
The pizza franchise occupied the space that was home to Rosy’s Roadhouse from 2013 to 2015. Before Rosy’s, the bar was operated under different owners as Starbusters Bar & Grill.
Another local Rosati's franchise is at 630 Plaza Drive in Sycamore. The DeKalb location was one of nearly 80 Rosati's in Illinois and more than 200 nationwide, according to Rosati's website.
