Dixon KFC reopens after 5 days

DIXON – KFC, 737 N. Galena Ave., resumed business Wednesday after a brief closure.

General manager Chris Hines said he received word Wednesday morning that the restaurant, closed Friday, could reopen for business. He declined to say why it closed, or provide contact information for someone who could.

The restaurant is owned by EYM Realty of Illinois, which bought it from Zak Family Foods in July for $251,000. EYM also owns Pizza Hut, Burger King and Denny’s locations in eight states.

Calls to EYM were not returned.
