Theft, battery warrant arrest made

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Marisa Munoz, 20, of the 200 block of Abe Street, Plano, at 3:46 p.m. Aug. 26 near the intersection of Abe and West streets on a Kendall County warrant for domestic battery and theft. Police said Munoz was taken to the County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

One hurt, one cited in crash

Nicolle E. Hamm, 28, of the 8000 block of Old Ridge Road in Plainfield, was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at noon Aug. 24 on Route 126 at Grove Road in NaAuSay Township. Police said Hamm’s vehicle was struck in the intersection by a vehicle driven by Simon S. King, 24, of the 100 block of Horizon Circle in Carol Stream. Police said Hamm was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, while King was cited for failing to stop at the intersection.

Property damage reported

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of criminal damage to property at a residence in the 0-99 block of Afton Road in Boulder Hill. Police said the report was filed with them at 12:58 p.m. Aug. 25.

Oswego Township theft reported

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a theft at 4:41 p.m, Aug. 25 in the 1600 block of Route 25 in Oswego Township. Police said they are investigating.

Identity theft reported

Sheriff’s deputies took an identity theft report at 11:23 a.m. Aug. 4 in the 200 block of Foxtail Lane in Bristol Township. Police said the victim told deputies that someone used the victim’s personal information to obtain unemployment benefits.

Domestic battery reported

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a domestic battery at 4:50 a.m. Aug. 25 in the 0-99 block of East Lions Avenue in Big Grove Township. Police said the investigation into the incident is continuing.

Domestic battery investigation

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a domestic battery at 12:41 a.m. Aug. 27 at a residence in the 0-99 block of Amsebury Road in Boulder Hill. Police said the incident remains under investigation.

Property damage report taken

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of criminal damage to property at 7:09 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 2000 block of Collins Road in Oswego Township. Police said their investigation into the incident is continuing.
