Domestic arrest at Route 34 business
Oswego police arrested William Carlson, 77, of the 2700 block of Whitchurch Court, Naperville, at 7:38 p.m. July 20 on a charge of domestic battery at a business in the 2400 block of Route 34. Police said Carlson was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Oswego police took a theft report at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 on July 23. Police said $300 was taken.
DUI arrest
Oswego police arrested Hunter J. Knill, 25, of the 20th block of Ashland Street, Oswego, at 2:32 a.m. July 20 on Wolf’s Crossing Road east of Douglas Road. Police said Knill was charged with driving under the influence. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.
Investigate domestic report
Oswego police investigated a report of a domestic violence incident that was reported to have occurred at 11 p.m. July 19 in the 300 block of Cascade Lane. No arrests were made, police said.
Facing alcohol charge
Oswego police arrested Lamya A. Washington, 18, of the 200 block of South LaSalle Street, Aurora, and Daphne E. Tesillos, 18, of the 900 block of Talma Street, Aurora, at 8:20 p.m. July 20 at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 in Oswego on charges of possession of alcohol. Police said both suspects later posted bond and were released pending court appearances.
Fraud report taken
Oswego police took a fraud report at 5 p.m. July 16 from a resident of the 800 block of Colchester Drive. Police said the victim wired $900 to another individual online in exchange for a piece of furniture. Police listed the $900 as stolen.
DUI arrest
Oswego police arrested Frank Cruz Jr., 43, of the 600 block of West Pembroke Avenue, Dallas, Texas, at 8:49 p.m., July 16 in the 2700 block of Route 34. Police said Cruz was charged with driving under the influence. He was transported to the County Jail where his bond was set at $300.
Hit-and-run reported
Oswego police are investigating a hit-and-run crash July 16 in a parking lot in the 3700 of Orchard Road. Police said damage to the victim’s vehicle was estimated at more than $1,500.
