Richmond-Burton District 157 releases details of administrative staff raises

Richmond-Burton High School District 157 administrative staff received at a recent board meeting raises between 1.5% and 3.6% based on the position held. The district released more specifics Thursday in response to an Illinois Freedom of Information Act request from the Northwest Herald.

Shared Service Director of Special Education Jackie Miller will make $114,996 in the 2019-20 school year, compared to her previous salary of $111,000, according to district documents. Nippersink District 2 will pay 60% of her salary and Richmond-Burton District 157 will pay 40%, according to district documents.

Richmond-Burton High School Associate Principal Chris Nolen will make $110,658 in the 2019-20 school year. His previous salary was $106,813, according to district documents.

The high school's new athletic and activities director Kristi Martin will make $91,686 in the 2019-20 school year. Her previous salary was $88,500, according to district documents.

Martin served as dean of students for Richmond-Burton High School before transitioning to the new job. She took over the role July 1, 2018.

The former athletic director Patrick Elder is facing a felony charge stemming from a driving under the influence incident in July 2017.

He currently is District 157’s dean of students. The board raised his salary to $91,443 for the upcoming school year. He previously made $90,092, according to district documents.
