Parking fee at Elburn's Metra station to apply on weekends starting July 1

ELBURN – Commuters will be paying more to park at the Elburn Metra lot on weekends and holidays beginning July 1. The daily parking fee of $1.50 will remain the same. Previously, no fee was required to park at the station on weekends and certain holidays.

The parking fee machines only accept cash and do not give change, so drivers are encouraged to bring exact change for the number of days they plan to be parked in the lot. Patrons can also use a credit card to pay with the Park Mobile app.
