Blustery breezes didn’t phase Plano High School students on Friday afternoon as they gathered in the school auditorium to participate in the annual Prom Walk.

Students made their way across the auditorium stage, pausing to pose for photographs under a balloon archway, before gathering together at the back of the stage.

As the event wrapped up, the 2018 Prom King and Queen, Jason Jimenez and Serenity Early, returned to the stage, to share one last dance together.

This year’s court included: Cameron Ward, Angel Peray, Nathan Jernigan, Michael Cano, Keegan Cullison, Alex Rodriguez, Uriel Rodriguez, Kaylee Read, Jessica Smith, Ariana Mendez, Judy Chavez, Emily Moreno, Alexis Sandoval, and Keasy Simpson. Ultimately, Judy Chavez and Michael Cano were crowned as king and queen, sharing a dance to the 2019 prom song, “Love Someone,” by Lukas Graham.
