STREATOR — Bonnie L. Sroka, 74, of Streator, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Elias Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Sroka, Tom Noon, Scott Sroka, Chance Loudenback, Brandon Loudenback and Craig Kinkade. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Elias Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 24, 1944, in Streator, she was the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Worrell) Noon. She married Richard “Dick” Sroka June 24, 1962, in Streator.
She is survived by her husband, Dick, of Streator; children Patti Loudenback, of Streator, and Richard (Jeannette) Sroka, of Malone, Wis.; grandchildren, Scotty Sroka, David Sroka, Chanse Loudenback, Christina William, Katrina Loudenback, Brandon Loudenback, Kaylee Sroka and Jimmy Sokol; great-grandchildren, Jayce, Chandlen and Lillian Loudenback and Thomas Boyd. She also is survived by her sister, Constance (Jake) Sorce, of Streator, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator Township High School in 1962.
She was a member of the Streator Moose and Eagles and Veterans of Foreign War Post 1492. She worked at the Streator Moose for many years.
Bonnie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; family was her everything. She fought several battles with sickness for many years and never complained. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
