Jeanne Herchenbach, administrative assistant at Bolingbrook High School, is one of those people whose job title falls far short of describing what she does.

She is the person who greets visitors to the office with a smile, and no matter what the question is, she likely knows the answer.

Officially, in her nine years in Valley View Community Unit School District 365U, Herchenbach has worked with the Phoenix program, the Bolingbrook High School office and bookstore before assuming her current role three years ago.

She also handles the details for the two biggest logistical events on the Bolingbrook High School calendar: registration and graduation.
