Plano police used a taser to subdue a suspect as they responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a home in the 4100 block of Dillon Street at 1:54 a.m. Oct. 7.

Police said Jimmy R. Sanders, 35, of the Dillon Street residence, actively resisted officers and caused a minor injury to one of the officers.

Police said officers tased Sanders and he was taken into custody.

Sanders has been charged with aggravated resisting a peace officer, aggravated battery to a peace officer and domestic battery.

He was transported to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings, according to police.
