1) Why are you running for the elected office you’re seeking?
I am running for the elected office because I feel I can make a difference. I am currently assigned to the family call, and it is in this division that I feel I can be most effective to the people of Will County.
2) What skills, qualities or experience do you have that separate you from your opponents?
I have years of managerial experience in the private sector. I was a sole practitioner for 18 years with multiple employees. I am even-tempered, consistent and fair. I am the presiding judge in the Family Division, and I am currently officiating over two divorce calls until my fellow associate judge returns from medical leave.
3) What are the greatest challenges facing Will County and/or your specific district in the coming years?
Growth. The county is growing and because of this growth, we have to plan ahead to handle the influx of people in the court system. We have to modernize our technologies and become more efficient in handling our court calls.
4) If elected, what will be your top three priorities?
Streamlining the family call so we can get people in and out quickly. Educating the public and instituting programs that will help them navigate through the complicated process.
