Frank L. Sass Jr. and Gloria J. (Berta) Sass of Streator will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were married on October 12, 1968 in Streator. In attendance at the ceremony was Maid of Honor Marilyn Gruenbaum, friend of the Bride, along with Bridesmaids Kathy Gotch, friend of the Bride, Carol Berta, sister of the Bride, and Michele Berta, sister of the Bride, Best Man Gerald Boudreau, friend of the Groom, and Groomsmen John Defenbaugh, cousin of the Groom, Richard Gallick, friend of the Goom, and Steve Sass, cousin of the Groom.
The couple’s parents are the late Michael and Dorothy Berta of Streator and the late Leonard and Doris Sass of Long Point. Frank and Gloria are the parents of two children, Dawn Joy (Jason) Darnell of Murfreesboro, TN and Michael Frank Sass of Streator. They are also the proud grandparents of two grandchildren, Keegan and Karter Kane of Murfreesboro, TN.
They are enjoying spending their retirement together. A family dinner will be held in celebration of this wonderful milestone.
